March came in like a lamb- we hope it stays that way!
Over a year ago, I figured out what a Beer Club should look like for our store. Aside from me wanting to get people out of their comfort zone, I wanted more people to focus on styles and breweries that were not the next big thing, but to realize that there are great beers that you don’t have to chase. The part that I didn’t realize I would love is the limited tasting. Most months we have a nice group of people who are not only discussing the beers they are tasting but the beers for that month or previous months in addition to other beers they’ve tried. It has created a community that is a big part of who Pour Richard’s has become.
Each Month I will attach a link to the Beer Notes below, but you will also get a sneak peek of the beers available for the Beer Club member tasting from 5-7 pm on the 15th!
This past weekend I headed to New Jersey for my Great Uncle’s 90th Birthday! He has always been full of life, and one of my favorite people to talk booze with. We mostly talk Wine and Spirits, but occasionally beer. I stopped at the liquor store next door to the restaurant to find this month’s beers which entertained my Uncle Paul greatly. This month’s tasting is from New York Breweries one an old school Triple Belgian Ale and the other an IPA. Very fitting to my weekend.
We hope you can stop by between 5-7 pm to enjoy these great beers with us!
Ready for Pickup After 5 PM on Thursday, August 15th.
